IdeaSoft is looking for a talented, self-motivated, and goal-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to become a member of our team that provides high-quality applications for our clients.
Our candidate should have good theoretical and practical QA skills and use them properly. As far as we work as a solid team – interpersonal and team collaboration skills must exist.
The team consists of dedicated professionals specializing in software development and consultancy services, experts who are focused on meeting customers and the company’s strategic goals by directly executing the full lifecycle from planning through design, implementation, testing, and go-live.
Requirements
- Minimum 1,5 years of relevant experience as a QA Engineer
- Good understanding of client-server architecture
- Experience in API testing
- Knowledge and practical experience with DevTools
- Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Basic knowledge in HTML/CSS, SQL
- At least an upper-intermediate level of English (B2)
Would be a plus
- Experience with logging systems
- Experience with proxy tools such as Fiddler or Charles
- Experience in testing mobile applications
Responsibilities
- Manual testing of the web application
- Creating and maintaining test documentation
- Participating in task planning and estimation
- Tracking test coverage
- Work closely with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and design appropriate tests.
