Vacancy Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Owner/Product Manager (FinTech experience) to join our team and contribute to the success of our project.

Project for creating a service for the citizens of Uzbekistan to get social cards that work within a specific scope (like receiving social benefits, pay for specific goods & services, social discounts etc). To provide Social Workers with an app to help citizens to onboard to the application in person. And provide Bank / Fin. Analyst a dashboard to be able to monitor usage of this cards. Provide citizens with a way to access digital goverment certificates and other documents

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner.
  • Experience in designing and launching large scale software products, scalable distributed systems (e.g., banking, finance/fintech, API gateways, etc.)
  • Experience in integrating with payment processors/providers (e.g., MoonPay, Stripe, Alchemy Pay, etc.)
  • Experience in bringing new products to market, from vision to production (e.g., product backlogs, roadmaps, releases, milestones, etc.)
  • Experience in conducting on-site/offline discovery.

Documentation Skills:

  • Ability to structure and orchestrate information architecture effectively within the project.
  • Proficiency in creating clear and concise product requirements (e.g., BRD, SRS, Business Model Canvas, VP Canvas, etc.)
  • Proficiency in product backlog management: epics, user stories, splitting, acceptance criteria (Gherkin, SMART, INVEST), prioritization (e.g., Jira/Confluence, Notion, etc.)
  • Proficiency in creating various diagrams and models (UML), business process (BPMN) (e.g., Draw.io, Miro, Visio, etc.)
  • Prototyping and wireframing skills (e.g., Figma/Figjam, Balsamique, etc.)

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong skills in business and system analysis, full cycle requirements management and product management.
  • Strong logical and analytical skills, with the ability to perform functional decomposition and identify edge cases.
  • Ability to provide practical/realistic solutions and recommendations for product development.
  • Solid understanding of the SDLC and development methodologies, ability to collaborate with various tech teams.

Would be a plus

  • Experience with the blockchain/crypto products: mobile and web apps (e.g., DEX/CEX, wallets, virtual cards, etc.)
  • Understanding of go-to-market strategies and marketing approaches.
  • Experience with hypothesis testing, applying data-driven approaches to validate ideas.
  • Experience with the Scrum framework or relevant certifications.
  • Familiarity with product metrics and analytics, ability to define, track, and interpret KPIs to inform product decisions.

Responsibilities

Requirements Elicitation and Analysis:

  • Identify and articulate business needs, elicit functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders, and analyze them to drive project objectives.
  • Analyze and actualize the existing documents and artefacts.
  • Facilitate discussions to uncover underlying needs and translate them into actionable requirements.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation as a Business Analyst/Product Owner.
  • Collect, define, and translate business/product objectives into clear deliverables, technical requirements. and user stories within the backlog.
  • Distribute tasks to the development team and ensure continuous support and alignment of functionality through to production.

Solution Design and Specification:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design technical solutions that are feasible, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications to guide the development process and ensure alignment with project goals.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the technical team and client stakeholders (government agencies, partners).
  • Ensure traceability of requirements between project goals and client expectations.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with project delivery, including technical, security, and timeline risks.
  • Collaborate with the development team to define and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success and safeguard deliverables."
