Project Overview

At its core Moonwin offers users a unique betting experience where they gamble against a smart contract. This innovative approach ensures fairness and transparency in every game.

From the initial MVP development, we focused on creating robust smart contracts that facilitate gambling against the platform. We seamlessly integrated Moonwin with Polygon network as a firt to broaden its accessibility with low gas fees and provide a faster adoption. Leveraging Chainlink’s capabilities, we ensured randomness and integrity in the betting process.

One of the main features of the platform is its liquidity pool-based model. Rather than competing against the casino’s own funds, players engage directly with the liquidity pool. This not only enhances fairness but also decentralizes the platform, aligning with the main idea behind blockchain technology.

As Moonwin evolved into its V1, we introduced support for the Ethereum and BNB Chain networks, further expanding its reach and versatility. We refined the platform’s referral system, offering influencers unique referral links to enhance user engagement and foster partnerships. Additionally, the development of an analytics cabinet provided administrators with valuable insights for effective bids’ management.

In the next iteration of adjustments – Moonwin V2 – we revolutionized the platform by removing the casino’s funds entirely. Now, users exclusively play against the liquidity pool, ensuring a truly decentralized gaming experience. To facilitate governance and community participation, we implemented a DAO using Snapshot, empowering users with voting rights through the Moonwin native token $MWIN.

Challenges

User experience: providing a seamless and engaging user experience was crucial for the success of a crypto casino platform. Designing intuitive user interfaces that should compete with other market players and optimizing loading times while ensuring compatibility across devices required an integrated work of senior specialiists to make it work smoothly.
Payment processing: integrating cryptocurrency payments into the casino platform and supporting multiple cryptocurrencies required robust payment processing systems to be integrated as well as reliable wallet management infrastructure to be established. Ensuring fast and secure transactions, handling transaction fees, and addressing potential issues such as network congestion and confirmation times were also the key challenges to overcome during this development.
Game mechanics development: the development of fair and entertaining casino games that leverage blockchain technology presents unique challenges itself. Ensuring transparency, randomness, and provable fairness in game outcomes while maintaining gameplay dynamics and user engagement requires innovative game design and engaging strategies for user retention on the platform.
